# Promise Unbound

> A Kolkata-based NGO working to uplift underprivileged communities in West Bengal through education, nutrition, healthcare, and social awareness campaigns.

Promise Unbound is a privately-funded non-profit organisation founded in 2018 and sponsored by CodeClouds, operating in Kolkata and the rural interiors of North and South 24-Parganas, West Bengal, India. The organisation focuses on socio-economic change by providing educational access to disadvantaged children, distributing nutritious meals and essential resources, running free health camps, supporting hygiene and sanitation initiatives, and raising community awareness on women's issues and social concerns. Guided by the philosophy "Positivity is our sole Strength," Promise Unbound connects volunteers, donors, and partners to create lasting impact for 150+ individuals across underserved communities. Named in remembrance of Gouri Bala Saha and Khirod Chandra Hazra, the organisation is expanding its reach internationally to USA and New Zealand.
