Our Mission

Promise Unbound is one of those Non-Profit organizations which have been working religiously towards betterment of society in the interior sections of both the 24 Parganas, West Bengal. Being a Kolkata-based NGO, Promise Unbound is dedicated to create better future for the underprivileged folks. Good health and proper education are the key factors to happy life. But we were astonished to find that so many children are there in the city and the suburbs, North & South 24 Paraganas, West Bengal, who are spending their childhood in poverty and lack of educational resources are forcing them to work as child labors. Not only child labors, lack of food and education are also becoming the cause of increasing illegal activities. With the motto of providing secure knowledge and livelihood base to the underprivileged children though moral, social and material support, Promise Unbound found its way towards fulfilling the social responsibilities.

Our volunteers are connected to providing education to poor children, encouraging people to come forth in fundraising, support the needy people, and spread awareness among people regarding the social issues including women issues, socio-economic, health care, environment and so on. You can also be a part of our volunteer team to support our projects.

WHAT WE'RE TRYING TO IMPROVE

When a number of people are involved in social communication, or maybe a huge group of people, living in the social territory or geographical location with same cultural expectations, it's named as a society. Being a Non-Profit organization, we focus on the issues the society is facing nowadays. Some of them we are trying to improve for assuring a better future for the upcoming generations.

• Spreading education among the less privileged people
• Arranging nutritious meal and education resources for the needy
• Raising awareness for hygiene, education, women issues and other social matters
• Fulfilling the basic needs of life
• Free health camp for the destitute children
• Connecting those who support the social changes for betterment of the entire society

Working for a good cause, spreading happiness, giving a hand to the poverty-stricken mass, and connecting those who are interested to contribute or join us, this is how Promise Unbound is moving forward to bring some positive changes in the society.
